The hot tub

This might just be the highlight of your stay. Out on the deck, tucked into the trees, the hot tub is waiting — and there's nothing quite like sinking in as the sky turns pink, the jets bubbling, the woods hushed all around you, a drink within arm's reach. Sunrise coffee or a midnight soak under the stars, it's the spot you'll keep finding your way back to.

Hot-tub towels are in the game room downstairs, so there's no need to raid the bathrooms.
We drain, scrub, and refill the tub fresh before every stay — so depending on when the cleaners topped it off, it may still be warming up your first evening. Give it until the next day and it'll be piping hot whenever you are.

Opening and closing the cover

  1. 1Flip one half of the cover back over onto itself.
  2. 2Slide the folded cover back toward the deck railing — the lifter arms move with it.
  3. 3Clip the bungee strap across the front so it can't fall.
  4. 4Reverse the steps to close it — and please pop the cover back on whenever you're done, to stay safe and keep the heat in. Never sit or stand on the cover (a damaged one runs $400 to replace).
A few simple safety rules keep the water clean and everyone happy — they're on the Hot tub rules page. Then settle in and enjoy every minute.
