The hot tub is one of the best seats in the house — and a few simple rules keep the water clean and everyone safe.
Before & during your soak
Rinse off lotions, sunscreen, and sweat before getting in — it keeps the water clean for everyone.
Keep soaks to 15–20 minutes at a stretch; take breaks to cool down and stay hydrated.
Children must be supervised by an adult at all times; little ones under 5 shouldn't use the tub, and no one under 18 without an adult.
If you're pregnant, have a heart condition, or take medication that affects temperature or alertness, please check with your doctor first.
Keeping it clean & safe
Keep the cover on when the tub isn't in use — and never sit or stand on it.
No glass or breakables nearby — please use non-breakable cups.
No diving, running, or rough play; the area gets slippery.
No oils, lotions, or bath products in the water, and please leave the bromine floater in.
Keep noise down after 10:00 PM for the neighbors.
Notice a leak, an odd noise, or cloudy water? Tell us right away — and please don't attempt repairs or chemical adjustments yourself. New to the tub? See The hot tub for how to use it.
