Welcome to the Smokies! I'm Becky, and I'm genuinely so happy you found your way to Bearly Hangin' On. This cozy cabin tucked up in the trees belongs to our family, and we've loved it and fussed over it for years — every comfort you'll find inside is something we wanted waiting for our own guests.

A little about us

My day job is managing an office, but my heart is in travel, a good book, time in the yard, and my family. We fell hard for Eastern Tennessee years ago, and what keeps us here is the contrast — the deep quiet of the Smoky Mountains on one side, and the bright, happy buzz of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg on the other. You can chase a waterfall in the morning and ride a roller coaster by dinner. There is so much to do right from this doorstep.

What we hope for your stay

My goal is simple: that your time here feels effortless, and that you head home with the kind of memories you'll bring up for years. If anything is ever not quite right, please tell me while you're here — we'd so much rather fix it on the spot than read about it after you've gone, so you can get right back to relaxing.
