Before You Arrive
Groceries & pharmacy

There's no big grocery store right at the top of the mountain, so the trick is to stock up in town on your way up. Which stores you'll pass depends on how you're coming in — here are the ones we actually use.

Rather skip the shopping? Ask us about our Host Services — we're rolling out a concierge stocking service so your fridge can be filled before you even arrive. (A few of these extras are coming soon — just reach out for your dates.)

Walmart Supercenter — Sevierville

Usually the first stop in town: food, plus the odds and ends — batteries, sunscreen, that one thing you forgot. Inexpensive and convenient; just don't come here for specialty items.

Good forGroceries · household basics · low prices

Publix — Pigeon Forge

A nice step up if you're cooking something special — clean and friendly, with a good selection, deli, and bakery.

Food City — Gatlinburg (the back way)

Heading toward Gatlinburg, or coming in that direction? The Food City on East Parkway is an easy stop, and from the cabin you can reach it the back way without fighting the main Parkway traffic. Food City is a beloved regional Southern chain — friendly and well-stocked.

Coming from Knoxville? Food City — Maryville

Flying into Knoxville (TYS) and coming up through Maryville? The Food City there is a great stop — same friendly regional chain, well-stocked for the trip up.

Pharmacies

Walmart in Sevierville has a full pharmacy, and you'll find CVS and Walgreens locations along the Parkway in both Sevierville and Pigeon Forge. For anything urgent, see Emergency numbers.
